Agnes Water/Town 1770

scooter roo "Rockerbraut" Juliette! looks good on me, doesn't it??
scooter roo! we hired choopers and cruised into the sunset!:-)
we enjoyed the beautiful sunset on the rocks of the town 1770. awesome!
Agnes Water - the most northernly surf beach! nick and chrissy - you would have loved it. the surf was pretty good and a lot of surfers were out!
I chilled out in one of the great and comfi hammocks!
Hi guy's!
It is 9.30 am and I just spent 12 hours in the greyhound bus. we stayed in the best hostel ever the last 3 days! it is called "cool bananas" and I can highly recommend it. we had so much fun there (especially with the choopers) and the beaches are wonderful. the boys were great there! :-))
however, we arrived safely in Airlie Beach and the weather is getting better and better! it is very windy but that's what you need when you wanna go sailing.
we are booked in on a sailing boat from tomorrow (3 days). there are about 74 islands (white sunday islands) and we are probably gonna be on a few of them. the water is getting clearer and more beautiful the further north you travel!
i gotta fly cause internet is very expensive!

Rainbow Beach & Fraser Island

we were 11 people and all from different countries! we were really lucky cause our group was really cool and we had a lot of fun on the camping grounds (vodka and wine) :-)
Yannik (Cologne) and I at Indian Head!
Chris and I just before we were jumping of the rock! (no - I am just kidding!!)
Julchen definitely needs a suntan! :-) (it is still raining by the way!!) :-((

Hi guy's!

Yes, I am still alive! :-)

just got back from the biggest sand island in the world and it has been amazing!

I'm really tired right now cause we had to sleep in tent's for two days and it was freezing cold! so don't expect an essay about our trip. the weather was perfect on the first day but it started to rain really heavily and it was really windy on the last day! sand was everywhere (clothes, food) and we didn't have a shower for 3 days!

( steff & dani - ihr wat's ausgefippt!)

however, we met really nice people in our group and it was a big adventure and challenge!

hope everything is going well. we are heading off to Agnes Water/Town 1770 tomorrow and I will have a mobile phone reception again. :-) hopefully :-)

Brisbane and Noosa

Brisbane at night! beautiful lookout!
Botanical Gardens in Brisbane!
this is gonna be our bus for the next few weeks! (the small version - they have got bigger ones too!!) :-)
we hired mountain bikes in Noosa and explored the beautiful town and beaches. as you can imagine it started to rain and we got back to the hostel completely drenched!

Hi guy's,

we returned our camper van in brisbane and had a wonderful time there. we were booked in a yha hostel for one night and got to see pretty much everything what you have to see in brisbane (including nightlife - it was great!).

many thanks to basti who gave us lots of tips where to go and what to see!

after we returned our herbie we bought our greyhound bus ticket up to Cairns. it costs 258.00 $ and you can hopp on and off whereever you like up the coast!

our first stop was Noosa wich is a really nice place. it is really small but very beautiful. especially the national park right next to the beach was awesome. chris and I saw a wild Koala climbing from eucalyptus tree to eucalyptus tree (it was really amazing to actually see one cause normally they sleep about 18-20 hours a day!!). unfortunately the weather is crab at the moment. it hasn't stopped raining for about 5 days now, so we couldn't go to the beach.

today we arrived in rainbow beach which is not really nice when it's raining. basically just a very small place with a beach we haven't seen yet cause you are drenched within seconds. :-)

we are booked in for our fraser island tour tomorrow morning. fraser island is the biggest sand island in the world and you are only able to explore the island with a guided tour. we are leaving from rainbow beach tom morning and we are gonna be there for 2 nights and 3 days.

- no mobil phone reception

- no showers

- we have to set up our own tents and cook our own meals

- we bought one liter vodka and orange juice to survive in this shit rainy weather. BUGGER!!!

photos will be shown in a few days! the weatherforecast is pretty bad so don't expect beautiful photos! but if you look up fraser island at the internet you can get pretty good photos!

love you all and hope the weather is better whereever you are at the moment!

this wicked sign was on our window. a lot of people looked at us and started to laugh as soon as they read this sign!

Bayron Bay

oh my godness. I was so reliefed when I felt the ground again!
here she is. julchen in the sky (but without diamonds) :-)
Dave (my skydiving partner) and I are getting ready for the hell!
Chris jumped as well and he loved it. he didn't get sick! :-)
before we jumped I was actually in pretty good form. but my smile turned into a very sick face as soon as we went up into the sky! :-(

Hi sweathearts!
Send you lots of love from Bayron Bay! Bayron has got the most Eastern Point in Australia! Its got wonderful beaches but the weather wasn't very nice unfortunately!
As you can see - I DID IT! Skydiving (14.000 ft./70 sec. free fall). It was a pretty cool thing to do but unfortunately I got very sick so I couldn't really enjoy the jump! My ear got hurt and the weather turned out awful!
All in all, Bayron is a great place when the weather is nice! :-)
hope all is well! take care! (oh, by the way - I love getting comments! Is there anybody out there reading my homepage???!?!)
@Mama: Ich hab das jetzt mal getestet mit den comments und bei mir hat es funktioniert! komisch:-( klick einfach auf anonym oder other und schreib nen comment - dann auf veroeffentlichen! das muesste gehen!

Coffs Harbour - the big banana

you can find a lot of banana plantations in Coffs Harbour.

:-)tthe weather was beautiful and the beaches fantastic!

wia dahoam! even in down under is ALDI! the costumers are as scruffy as in germany!! :-)
french dinner with blue cheese, quince paste and grapes. yummy!! :-)

Port Macquarie

the beaches at Port Macquarie are stunning and the weather was again - beautiful! we were very lucky!
the lighthouse is a very popular lookout (and at this time of the year you can watch the wales travelling up north)
pizza for dinner. we were both stuffed after this massive cheese topping. but it was delicious!

Hawks Nest

Hawks Nest is a small cute place just a few min. off the pacific hwy! we've seen the most beautiful beach there and it was our second night in HERBIE! (this time it was warm and cozy) :-)
and here we go!! our wicked Herbie! isn't he cute?!?!
Spaghettig Napoli was our first hardcore camper dinner! it was definitely wicked!!!
the wonderful beach in hawks nest! nobody was there and we enjoyed the morning sun before we headed off to Port Macquarie!
Chris hasn't seen ocean water for about 7 years now. he was pretty excited!

Blue Mountains - always fantastic!!!

Wentworth waterfalls :-0
Katoomba waterfalls :-) beautiful
Somebody must have known before that I am gonna come!! hi hi :-)

Hi guys!

Finally you get to see a few pics of the wonderful Blue Mountains. As everybody already know we had a freezing first night in our camper van cause we didn't have any blankets! so we spent the 2nd night in the Blue Mountains YHA hostel! It has been the best hostel since we've been travelling! It was pretty windy but nice and sunny! Chris was quite amazed by the wonderful landscape and I really enjoyed my 2nd trip up there. It's always worth it to go there!
internet time is running again. sorry guys! we are having a really good time and it has been fantastic (although the weather turned out terrible yesterday!!).
the next post is coming soon! :-)

Charly (the new aupair from the Barrett's) and I - dancing queens!!
Chris new favourite animal - the possum. he jumped around in hyde park in the city (totally drunk after our big night) and tried to pat it! It was too scared!! No wonder :-)

for those who haven't seen one - you can only see them in Australia (http://www.wikipedia.de/)
on sunday (our hangover day) we enjoyed Sydneys wonderful beachtracks along the coast!
